Quail Stuffed Mushrooms

A great appetizer combining the taste of quail with the deliciousness of stuffed mushrooms.

Instructions

  • 1. Remove stems from mushrooms.
  • 2. In a food processor, combine the quail meat, cheese, jalapeno, salt and pepper to personal taste. Cover and pulse until finely chopped.
  • 3. Add WC Tuscan Spice Blend and Air-Dried Shallots to mixture and fold in so the herbs are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  • 4. Stuff mushroom caps with meat mixture. Sprinkle with bacon.
  • 5. Place on a baking sheet or in shallow casserole dish.
  • 6. Drizzle light coating of olive oil and a pat of butter into pan. Also drizzle a tiny amount of Wild Cheff Butter Olive Oil on top of each mushroom.
  • 7. Bake stuffed mushrooms at 400-degrees F for 10-15 minutes, until mushrooms are browned up.
