Why Do Hunter's Hunt???!

Hunting is not about individuals that are focused on killing an animal, it's about so much more. It is upholding a tradition, spending time with family and friends in the outdoors, breathing the fresh air, and releasing the stresses of every day life.

The secret motive of all hunters that goes well beyond the experience of hunting is ultimately the prize that ends up in our freezer!! Hunters know something that non-hunters don't always realize. Before organic products became so popular, hunters already had full comprehension of how healthy and natural wild game is, and that is part of why we do what we do.

Consider us a wild farmer of sorts who does not breed our stock for the table, but seeks out in solitude his table faire and harvests it in a natural setting. It is challenging and rewarding experience, as we show respect for the animals we pursue. It builds patience, keen skills and helps us to grow spiritually.

The next time you see a hunter understand that he could be a doctor, a school teacher, mechanic or retail clerk. Regardless of background or job capacity, hunters have one common thread; they all have an appreciation for our natural resources and conservation.

There is no hidden agenda, we simply love the outdoors and appreciate what God has given us the priviledge to enjoy. So we head afield and to the woods every year in search of our harvest, knowing that to fill our freezer with free-range game is a compelling enough reason to hold to our traditions.
