.....A tribute to a
beloved way of life.
In days past, hunting was a way of life for many cultures. After all, life itself depended
on hunting success or failure. Although our survival no longer depends solely on hunting, it remains a way of life for many
people. I count myself among them.
Like many of you, hunting is something I look forward to. From the day the season
closes, I'm already making plans for the next year. Whether it's working at the hunting camp, planting food plots,
or scouting during the off-season, hunting goes beyond just getting to pull the trigger, or drawing your bow. It sustains
me, giving me something to look forward to and nurtures me spiritually.
Hunting brings families and friends together
in piece and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of modern day life; not to mention all that is learned about life and
nature in the process. This is what we cherish and pass on to those who follow behind us.

American Hunter
